CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery novel Chapter 909

There was a hint of anticipation in Nina’s eyes.

Scott was silent for a few seconds before giving a soft laugh. "They all think I'm dead. If I don't let them know I'm safe, they'll continue believing that. But if I do tell them, they'll worry even more. Besides, I haven't regained my memory yet."

Without his memories, he did not know how to communicate with his family. Moreover, he felt an emptiness inside him and wanted to do something meaningful to fill that void.

He thought that after some time, perhaps he would regain his memories and then he could go home. However, when he was around Nina, he always felt a strange tightness in his chest and a deep pain in his heart.

"I respect your decision. But you told me this place is dangerous. Aren't you worried..." Nina's brows furrowed.

Scott chuckled. "Everyone dies eventually. If one loses their way, it's better to do something meaningful that can fill the emptiness."

"Alright," Nina said, finally understanding his perspective.

Later, Nina and Scarlett searched along the riverbank for Nash. Despite the hardship, Nina was undeterred, but they found no trace of him.

After several days of fruitless searching, Nina finally gave up. She took Scarlett's hand and said, "Scarlett, I can't find him. You said my child didn't die. Did you hear Nash call anyone? Or did he mention any place frequently?"

Suddenly, Nina had a realization. If she couldn't find Nash, perhaps she could try to find her child.

Scarlett shook her head. "I really don't know. Is it possible that Captain contacted his family and entrusted your child to them?"
