"You don't need to worry about me," Justin interrupted Rosalie. "The medical staff here will take care of me. You should focus on your things. Don't waste your time on me. I won't recover anytime soon, and I don't want to delay your studies."
"But if I don't stay here to take care of you, how can I feel at ease?" Rosalie argued. She could only feel reassured if she stayed and watched over him.
"I'll be fine whether you're here or not. Go to your classes and finish your coursework as soon as possible. Once your classes are done, you can find time to visit me. There's no need to stay by my side all the time. It's a huge waste of your time."
"I don't think it's a waste at all. I just want you to recover quickly."
"I'll recover whether you're here or not," Justin said firmly. "Right now, I want you to focus on your studies and your responsibilities. Don't you want to return to your country sooner to see your child?"
Rosalie fell silent. His words struck a chord deep within her.
"If you stay here," he continued, "you'll need to defer your classes again. That'll be a hassle, and it'll waste so much of your time. When will you get to see your child? He's still with Sebastian. Can you be at ease about that? Even if you trust him, don't you miss your child?"
Rosalie felt a sharp pain in her heart, as if it were being pierced by needles. How could she not miss Steve? She deeply regretted letting Sebastian take him back. If she had known, she would have done everything she could to keep Steve with her.
Alas, it was too late for regrets now.
"Justin," she said, "maybe I can return home to Steve."
"Do you mean to give up on your studies?" Justin asked.
Rosalie nodded.
"If that's what you truly want…"
"What's wrong? Do you think I shouldn't?"
"It's not that you shouldn't. It's just that giving up everything now would be such a waste. And even if you return, can you continue staying with Sebastian? If you think you can, then by all means, go back for your child. But if you can't, going back now will only lead to conflict between the two of you."
Rosalie hesitated. "Are you saying I should wait a little longer? But Steve…"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
