"Rose isn't someone else. She's her own person. If you truly care, please don't hurt her. She needs to remain in Melrine for at least three more months. Who can guarantee your enemies won't go looking for her?" Theodore pointed out.

Justin clutched his chest. He could feel his wound throbbing with pain as sweat beaded on his forehead.

"Theodore Spencer. If you care so much about her, why did you hurt her back then?"

"I've paid the price for hurting her by losing her. But if one day Rose gets hurt or loses her life because of you, would you be able to pay the price for that? Even if you die, so what?" Theodore said.

Justin's face turned frosty.

"I'm telling you these because I trust you understand. Rose is very kind and she'll treat anyone who treats her well ten times better. That is why she treats you very well, but don't take that as a reason to hurt her. Even if you don't wish to hurt her, you can't stop others from doing so."

"Scram!" Justin yelled. "Otherwise, don't blame me for being nasty. I might be injured, but I'm more than capable of killing you right now."

Theodore stuffed his hands in his pockets, standing tall and straight as he looked at Justin.

"You're a smart man. I trust you'll make the right decision."

Justin lay weakly on the bed and sighed. He stared blankly ahead as his vision lost focus.

After Rosalie's afternoon classes, she went back to the hospital to visit Justin again. She came every day, whether rain or shine.

Even before she arrived at Justin's ward, she bumped into Theodore outside.

Theodore had his biopsy yesterday, but they had to wait for three to five days for the results. It probably wasn't out yet, so they had nothing to talk about between them.

She was prepared to just brush past him, but she noticed the bruise on the corner of his lips.
