Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1053

While the two were dining, neither noticed Aurora standing about a dozen meters away, covering her mouth as she wept bitterly. Her eyes were filled with pain and fury.

Behind Aurora stood a man, who leaned toward her and whispered, "See? I wasn't lying. Your Theodore has been secretly meeting his ex-wife these past three months."

Aurora couldn't believe what she was seeing. Yerick had told her that while she was bedridden and recovering over the past three months, Theodore had been meeting his ex-wife in secret. She didn't want to believe Yerick, but seeing it with her own eyes struck her like a lightning bolt.

"What now? It looks like he's trying to win her back," Yerick said deliberately, his words like a curse in Aurora's ears. Each syllable felt especially harsh.

Finally, unable to endure it any longer, Aurora stormed toward Theodore's table.

Yerick made no move to stop her. Instead, he stood there with his hands in his pockets, a smug smile on his lips.

"Rose, earlier you said you could stay until after my surgery. Then—"

"Theo." Aurora's voice suddenly rang out.

Rosalie and Theodore turned their heads, both showing varying degrees of surprise upon seeing Aurora.

"Aurora." Theodore stood up. "What are you doing here?"

Aurora clutched her chest, tears streaming down her face. "Theo, you've been telling me you were busy. So this is what you were busy with! If I hadn't followed you and seen it with my own eyes, I never would've believed you'd treat me like this."

Rosalie put down her knife and fork, all appetite lost.

"Mrs. Carter, is it appropriate for you to be having dinner with Theo? Does your husband know?" Aurora demanded.

Rosalie said nothing; she simply picked up her bag and stood. "My apologies, I'll be leaving now."

She turned to leave, but Theodore grabbed her arm. "Wait a moment."
