"I'm not being rash. Whether Grandma loses her memory again or not, you'll never be Rose. I'll never take you as her replacement."
Theodore was making himself very clear.
"Enough about replacements. Don't make it sound as though you're being considerate of me. If you really were, you wouldn't be talking about this right now. I'm really exhausted. I'm going to get some rest. We'll talk more next time," Aurora said.
With that, she ran off in tears.
Theodore didn't chase after her. He was worried about starting an argument with her and awakening Rebecca.
He deeply regretted what he did, hurting one woman after another. Perhaps he was under a curse.
He didn't expect to talk to Aurora about it right now. Sometimes, no amount of preparation could compare to an accident or a sudden urge.
Aurora ran back to her room in tears.
She was sharing a room with Angie.
Angie had just showered and was getting ready to hole up in her bed to enjoy a novel while scolding the author.
When she saw Aurora running back tearfully, she asked, "Aurora, what's wrong?"
Aurora collapsed on her bed, sobbing hard.
Angie approached her, trying to comfort her. "What happened?"
"Theo wants a break-up. I can't believe he actually asked for it! He's too much!"
"Goodness, this can't be!" Angie was shocked. "How could he say that at a time like this? Oh, I know. Rosalie must have instigated him. She's truly wicked!"
Aurora gritted her teeth. "I just don't understand. I sacrificed so much, so why is he still treating me like this?"
"It's all Rosalie's fault!" Angie shifted all the blame onto Rosalie. Theodore was blameless, after all. The blame was all on Rosalie alone. "She must have said something to Theodore! That woman is up to no good."
Aurora wiped the tears from her face. "What should I do now?"
"What did Theodore say?" Angie asked curiously.
Aurora told Angie everything Theodore said earlier.
After hearing Aurora out, Angie said, "You were right to say that. Drag things out and for all you know, Theodore might change his mind after a few days. Madam Jarvis fleets in between alertness and confusion and it's hard to tell when things will change. For all you know, she won't be able to do without you in time to come."
Angie wiped the tears on Aurora's face with a napkin.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
