"It's clearly not! Look at you. Don't move, I'll grab the first-aid kit."
Rosalie got up, went to the cabinet, and retrieved a medical kit before rushing back. Thankfully, she had a medical kit on hand.
"Lie down here. I'll help you treat it."
She had treated Justin's injuries before, so she was a bit more experienced now.
Justin didn't resist this time, allowing Rosalie to undo the bandages on his shoulder. When she saw the wound, she was shocked. The blood stains on it had already blackened.
"How did it get like this? We need to go to the hospital!"
"It's fine, Rose. Don't worry about me. I'll be okay."
Justin opened the medical kit and pulled out the necessary supplies. Then, he used a cotton ball soaked in antiseptic to clean the wound.
"Justin, let me do it," Rosalie said, taking the tweezers from his hand. "Lie still."
She understood his reluctance to go to the hospital, likely to avoid further complications. So, she stopped urging him to go to the hospital. For now, she would try to stabilize the injury; if it worsened, they could seek help later.
Rosalie leaned closer and carefully treated his wound. Finally, she wrapped it with clean bandages. Afterward, she grabbed a clean towel to wipe the sweat from his forehead.
"What on earth happened? Tell me now. How did you get shot? Who did this to you?"
"That night, after I dropped you off at the hotel, a man snuck into my car and threatened me. He wanted to kill me. I managed to survive by jumping into the sea, but I still got shot," Justin replied.
"What man? What did he look like?" Rosalie asked, her heart pounding.
She couldn't believe Justin had gone through something so dangerous. If she had known, she wouldn't have let him leave that night.
"He was masked, so I didn't see his face. The lighting was dim, but he was tall and thin. His voice sounded fake, as if he was deliberately disguising it. But…"
"But what?" Rosalie pressed.
"But I think…you know him."
"I know him?" Rosalie was stunned. "Why do you think that?"

Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy,free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists,too many misunderstanding,miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
