Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1203

"I'm the one who saved you. Have you forgotten so soon? It hasn't even been that long."

"The one who saved me? What nonsense are you spouting?" Suddenly, Rosalie thought of something. "Are you the one who kidnapped me?"

"Why make it sound so awful? I saved you back then too. Otherwise, you'd be dead."

"Saved me? You kidnapped me, then forced me to make a choice! And now you expect me to thank you?"

The man's voice carried a hint of disappointment. "You've hurt my feelings. So, you hate me that much?"

"Why did you steal my bracelet? What are you trying to do? Have you been spying on me? Who are you?" Rosalie's anger flared as memories of the past surfaced.

"So many questions at once—I hardly know where to start. But no matter what, you should thank me for saving your life back then. And last time, I even warned you that Theodore was lying to you. Instead of gratitude, you're treating me so harshly. It's quite heartbreaking."

"What exactly do you want?!" Rosalie demanded.

"I'm not sure yet. I'll decide based on my mood."

Rosalie closed her eyes, took a deep breath to calm herself, and then said firmly, "Don't think you can use a bracelet to threaten me. I won't let you manipulate me over it. I'd rather give it up entirely."

"Is that so?" The man's tone sounded contemplative. "Alright, I understand."

The call abruptly ended. Rosalie's hand, which had been holding the phone to her ear, fell to her side.

Justin noticed her despondent expression and stepped closer. "This guy sounds like a total lunatic. What exactly happened before?"

Rosalie recounted the incident from the past.

After listening, Justin's face darkened slightly. "You went through something like that? No wonder things are tense between you and your aunt..."

"I thought that matter was long behind me," Rosalie said, her eyes turning red. "I never expected that person to reappear. I truly can't figure out who he is or what he wants."
