Aurora wanted to keep asking questions, but for a moment, she didn't know how to phrase them.
She didn't dare to ask outright if Aurora and Angie actually existed in real life because she felt guilty.
After Aurora and Angie's plot appeared, the comment section was suddenly flooded with remarks about the two of them. Most of the comments were negative, with the underlying tone suggesting that what they had done would inevitably come to light.
Reading these comments, Aurora panicked. It felt as if everyone suddenly knew about their deeds.
Later, Aurora joined the ranks of active readers, checking every update as soon as it was released.
The latest chapters increasingly revolved around her and Angie, describing more harmful details, and even including a burial scene. The dialogue in that scene was eerily identical to reality.
Aurora and Angie came to a conclusion: the author was most likely Rosalie.
Rosalie had to be the one writing this novel! By coincidence, Angie had been a long-time fan of her work.
She must have discovered that one of her readers was Angie and then incorporated what they had done into the story.
-
One afternoon, Aurora and Angie arranged to meet Rosalie.
Rosalie arrived alone without Steve. They met at a cafe, as per her request. The public setting ensured that Aurora and Angie couldn't pull any tricks.
Aurora and Angie arrived early, while Rosalie was the last to arrive.
In front of Rosalie was a cup of coffee and some desserts, which Aurora had ordered. Rosalie naturally didn't touch them and pushed them aside.
Rosalie stared at them in silence. After a few seconds, she spoke.
"Whether it was you or not, we'll find out soon enough." She smiled and added, "As they say, ‘What's done in the dark will eventually come to light.'"
With a loud bang, Angie slammed her hand on the table.
"Rosalie, what nonsense are you spouting? You're slandering us, putting us in your book—don't you have any shame? I thought the content was getting stranger and stranger, but now it makes sense. You're the author! I guessed it right! You're just an immoral and loose woman! Only someone like you could write such a novel!"
Seeing Angie's outburst, Rosalie knew she had them right where she wanted. She said calmly, "Are you okay? Do you even know what you're saying?"
Aurora tugged at Angie's sleeve. "Calm down."
"How can I calm down? She's slandering us and ruining our reputation!" Angie pulled out her phone and opened the novel. "Rosalie, you're the author of this book! You're mad you didn't find any evidence, so you wrote us into the story!"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
