Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1230

Master Landon managed to find the drawing of the bracelet from over 20 years ago.

"Look, this is the drawing of that bracelet. I remember a lady asking me to custom-make it. She drew the design herself, but she didn't disclose her identity. She never told me her name."

"Do you remember what she looked like?" Rosalie asked.

"It's been too long, I can't remember," Master Landon replied.

Rosalie took the drawing and compared it to the actual bracelet. It was indeed identical.

"Master Landon, is this all you have? Do you have anything else?"

"I really can't remember anything else," Master Landon said. "It's been so long, you see. What's more, that lady remained anonymous. Why don't you just take this drawing back?"

With that, Rosalie and Justin left Master Landon's house. Rosalie stored the drawing carefully in her bag.

"Looks like we can't get anything much from Master Landon," she lamented.

"Master Landon said that it was a lady. Could she have been your mother?" Justin said.

"My mind's in a mess right now. They abandoned me, proving they didn't want me. But if they didn't want me, why did they custom-make such an expensive bracelet? I keep having this nagging feeling that something isn't quite right. Maybe it wasn't that they didn't want me, but they were forced to give me up?"

Justin nodded in agreement.

"I think that's possible. This bracelet is so expensive, no ordinary person can afford to have it custom-made. Something might have happened back then, and they had no choice but to abandon you. Your biological parents probably passed this bracelet to your adoptive parents personally. They wouldn't have gotten such a valuable bracelet when they adopted you from the orphanage. It would have been stolen a long time ago."

"When you say that, I'm starting to expect something out of my real parents. I wonder the kind of people they are, but maybe I shouldn't hold out any hope right now. What if they aren't what I imagined them to be?"

"Mom," Xyla said, "now that you're back home, please don't do anything rash this time. It wasn't easy for Chris to deal with the problem. If Sydney refused to let the matter go, things would have been troublesome for us."

"Alright, alright! You two keep siding with outsiders, so what choice do I have? If anything happens to me, it's because you two dragged me into this mess."

"Mom…" Xyla wanted to say more, but Chandra cut off.

"Fine. I'm back now, and I just want to live my life in peace. Quit talking about these things."

As the car turned a corner, a loud bang shot through the air and the car shook violently.

Chandra's head buzzed at the impact. "What happened?"

"I'm so sorry!" the driver immediately explained. "I think we got into an accident. I'll head out and check things out."
