Chandra suddenly sighed deeply.
"Alright. Call someone to clean this up," she said, turning to sit down on the chair. As she did, she noticed something on the floor next to the broken table.
She bent down to pick it up and discovered it was a small charm, probably from Rosalie's bag.

Justin drove Rosalie back home.
Rosalie didn't get out of the car, but instead turned to him and said, "Justin, you should leave."
"What?" Justin furrowed his brow. Just as he was about to ask why, he suddenly recalled something and could guess the reason for her request.
"The conflict today was too dangerous. I'm worried the police might come after you. You should leave for a while and lay low," she explained.
"If I leave, what will happen to you?" Justin asked, his concern clear in his voice.
"I'll take care of myself. You don't need to worry. Just leave quickly and take the car with you."
"Rose, I can't leave you alone. What if something happens to you?"
"If you leave, I won't have any problems. Please trust me. We had a close call today. You should hide for now. You can come back once things calm down."
Rosalie opened the glove compartment and handed him a gun. "This is from those two bodyguards. Either dispose of it or keep it for self-defense. Just protect yourself. Don't worry about me—I'll take care of myself."
Justin knew the situation today was serious, but he couldn't shake his worry. "Why don't you and Steve come with me?"
He could take them to a remote place where no one could find them, but as soon as the words left his mouth, he realized it was pointless. Rosalie would never leave.
Rosalie paused for a moment, then said, "Justin, I know you're worried about me, but I'll be fine. I'm more concerned about them targeting you. It would make things harder for you if we came with you, so please leave. Don't make me worry."
Justin didn't want to drag her into this either. "Alright, I'll listen to you. If anything happens, you must call me. I'll come back immediately."
He didn't want her to worry, so he reluctantly agreed.
"Good. You need to protect yourself, and only return once I'm sure everything's fine," Rosalie said.
"I won't drive this car," Justin said. "I have my own car, parked in a nearby lot."
With that, he opened the car door and got out. He went around to the backseat, opened the door, and gently ruffled Steve's head.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
