Theodore arrived at the lobby of Rosalie's apartment, but had no courage to head up. He paced up and down the lobby for a long time, unable to muster up the courage to see Rosalie.
He had chosen to believe Aurora rather than Rosalie so many times, and even said some harsh words to her. Yet now, there was concrete evidence proving how foolish he had been in the past.
He didn't know what to say to Rosalie to make up for the mistakes he had made.
Rosalie probably didn't want to see him either, or she wouldn't have left the wedding hall without a word.
Eventually, Rosalie came downstairs to throw out the trash, and saw Theodore standing a distance away.
His gaze met hers and he immediately walked toward her.
However, Rosalie pretended not to see him and turned to leave.
"Rose, wait!"
"Don't come over!" Rosalie yelled angrily, turning her face away. "I don't want to see you!"
She rushed into the elevator.
Theodore hurried over, but Rosalie quickly shut the doors of the elevator. He had no choice but to wait for another one to come.
After a while, he finally arrived outside Rosalie's apartment. She was already inside and had locked the door.
He pressed the doorbell many times. "Rose, open up. I have something very important to tell you!"
"What do you have to say? Are you going to question me about Aurora?"
"No, I'm not here to question you. I'm here to apologize to you. Rose, open the door."
"I don't need an apology from you. Theo, go back and lead your own life. Aurora was very good at acting and fooled everyone. Now that her true colors are shown, let's just put this past us and move on."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
