"You saved him?" Rosalie scoffed. "The cheek of you to say that! You shot him in his chest—I saw it myself! Theo was lucky that he managed to survive."

"Rose, oh Rose. You're really too naive. Did you forget? You chose for me to injure Theodore and protect Sebastian. Why are you blaming me now? If you were worried about Theodore dying, you shouldn't have made that choice at that time."

"Enough!" Rosalie yelled furiously. "You were clearly the despicable one who threatened me! You were the one who made things turn out this way so everyone would suffer and be in pain, and now you're trying to shift the blame on me?"

"Rose, what I wanted to tell you was that you should have chosen to let Sebastian get injured."

"None of them should have been injured! Yerick, you're wicked through and through!"

"How could he possibly be bribed by you? You injured him and almost killed him! How could he be on your side?"

"When I bribed him, he didn't know I was the one behind his injury. I bribed him as the one who kidnapped you. As for why he was willing to do so, that's because I had leverage over him. If he refused my bribe and didn't do as I told him to, I would expose him for what he did."
