Loving someone was inherently painful, especially when one didn't realize one's feelings at the start. It was only after losing the person that one woke up to the truth, but by then, the loss was final and irreversible.
Things had already happened, and no amount of pain could bring back what was lost.
"Justin, what are you still doing here? Are you here to watch me suffer? Get out! Go! Tell Rose I will settle this with her. I'm not done with her. I will fight for custody. Steve is my child. I will take him home!"
Theodore's heart was filled with hatred.
"I'm looking for Rose too, but I can't find her. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come to you," Justin replied.
Theodore froze. "What did you say?"
"Do you really think I came here to show off? I came because Rose's gone. If I could find her, I wouldn't have come to you. I tried to reach you before, but you were in surgery. Now that you're awake, I need you to get your emotions in check. What I'm about to tell you is even bigger than the fact that Steve is your son."
"She's gone?" Theodore struggled to sit up from the bed, his concern evident. "When did she go missing?"
No matter how cruel Rosalie had been to him, even humiliated him, hearing that she was gone still made him worry for her.
"Bring me a laptop," Justin said,
He took a USB drive from his pocket. "You need to see the contents here. After you watch it, you'll understand. Rosalie's in danger. I need you to know everything so we can find her together."
Seeing Justin's serious expression, it didn't seem like he was lying.
Theodore became frantic at the thought of Rosalie being missing. He immediately ordered, "Someone, get me a computer!"
Soon, a bodyguard brought over a laptop.
The small table next to the hospital bed was pushed over, and the computer was placed on top. Justin plugged in the USB drive and began playing the surveillance footage.
In the video, Yerick was seen holding a gun, forcing Rosalie to leave with him.
Theodore didn't answer. There was a lot more footage on the USB drive, and he continued watching, trying to find more clues.
Justin immediately said, "Theodore, finding Rose is the most important thing right now. Tell me everything you know. The more people looking for her, the better. Whatever happened between you two in the past, and whatever's going on with Steve, put it aside for now. Finding her is the priority."
"Where's Steve?" Theodore immediately asked.
"I was going to bring Steve to you so you could take care of him while I went to find Rose, but since you were hurt, I worried it would endanger his safety, so I left him with Sebastian," Justin said.
"What did you say? You left him with Sebastian?"
Theodore threw off the blankets and got out of bed. He rushed toward Justin and grabbed his collar.
"You idiot! Sebastian is not a good person! You've thrown my son to the wolves!"
"Sebastian may not be a good person, but he won't harm Steve. You don't have to worry too much," Justin said.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
