Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1314

Theodore's mind was filled with thoughts of Rosalie, and his heart burned with anxiety at Yerick's words.

"Yerick, torture me any way you like, but don't provoke Rose any further."

"Seems like you're really worried about Rose. You're even willing to lose your life for her. Although you're a bastard, you're not that heartless." Yerick rested his chin on his knuckles. "Let me think about what I should do next."

Theodore didn't know how to describe Yerick.

He was perverted, wicked, vicious, and without an ounce of empathy in his bones—but sometimes, he looked like nothing but a pure and innocent child, his eyes crystal clear. Even a man hardened by the toils of life may not be able to see through Yerick. He was too smart and too good at putting in an act. A person like him was immensely frightening.

Yerick suddenly started coughing again.

As if sensing something, Yerick immediately stood up and rushed out. Theodore could hear sounds of violent coughing coming from outside.

Yerick held himself up against a wall. Seeing blood all over his palm, he clenched his fist and gritted his teeth.

"No, this won't do." Yerick leaned his back against the wall and slowly slid down to the ground. "I won't allow it."

The non-stop coughing worried Wesley. "What's happening to him? Is he ill? He doesn't look too good. What do you think?"

Theodore agreed. "I think so too."

After a while, Yerick opened the door and walked in again. "Eat up all the food."

"How are we going to do that with our hands and legs tied up?" Theodore stretched his bound arms out. "Release us."

"No way. What if you two try to escape? I'm not stupid."

"Then we can't eat," Theodore concluded. "We'll just die of hunger here, and I'll wait to see how you'll take revenge on a couple of corpses. We wouldn't feel a thing if you whipped our dead bodies."

"You're absolutely right. You do understand my motive for revenge," Yerick said with a chuckle as he leaned against the door. "But you'll eat."

Yerick turned to leave.
