Theodore was very calm about Rosalie's confession.
"I already know he's my child. I don't blame you. I know I did wrong, that's why you didn't tell me the truth."
Nothing mattered in the face of death.
"Theo…" Rosalie sobbed brokenly.
"Cry, Rose. Cry as much as you want. Cry and vent all your frustrations. It's not good keeping it to yourself," Yerick said with a devilish smile.
Just then, a helicopter roared overhead.
Yerick looked up and remarked calmly, "Seems like they found me."
Rows of armored cars suddenly sped toward them, screeching to a halt as they surrounded them. Everyone in the sky and on land had their weapons aimed at Yerick.
"Don't move! Put your weapon down!"
Rosalie looked up at the helicopter and the cars, and realized that someone had finally come to their rescue. She broke down in tears of joy.
Many people had come, including some familiar faces such as Sebastian and Christopher.
Amidst the crowd, she saw a familiar figure. It was Justin, standing right at the front with a gun in hand, aimed right at Yerick.
"There's no escape for you, Yerick Zeller. Put your weapon down."
"Haha…" Yerick put the shovel down. "That took a while. You finally found me after so much effort."
"Yerick Zeller, surrender your gun and put it on the floor where we can see it. Hurry up!" Justin ordered threateningly.
Yerick looked around and saw everyone armed with either guns or weapons, clearly able to subdue him in a second. Yet, he said with a smile, unperturbed, "It's good to see so many people dying alongside me. I wouldn't be lonely in the underworld."
"Still trying to be stubborn even in the face of death," Sebastian said furiously. He then turned to Rosalie. "Rose, I've come to save you."
Justin tightened his hold over the gun. "You're still in time to surrender now and tell us where the main switch is. For all you know, you might survive."
"Survive?" Yerick started coughing violently. After recovering from the bout, he wiped the blood from his lips. "If I could survive, I wouldn't be playing games like this."
"What exactly do you want? Do you really want to die with everyone here?" Sebastian yelled furiously.
No one expected Yerick to do this.
"I don't care if all of you die, but I don't want Rose to die," Yerick said as his gaze landed on Rosalie. "Whether all of you survive depends on what she says."
Yerick's words made everyone tense up as they shifted their gaze to Rosalie.
"Of course I want everyone here to live on," Rosalie immediately said.
But she knew things wouldn't be so simple.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
