Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1362

Rosalie hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Theo, I… I can't keep living here. Now that I'm with Justin, it wouldn't be appropriate."

"There's nothing inappropriate about both of you living here."

Theodore made the greatest concession possible, something even Rosalie hadn't expected him to say.

"Theo, thank you, but Justin and I will still move out. It wouldn't be right for us to stay."

Even if Theodore didn't mind, she and Justin did. She had chosen to be with Justin, and she knew Theodore must be heartbroken. If she and Justin stayed here, constantly appearing before him, there was bound to be conflict. Moving out was the better option.

"What about Steve, then? Are you planning to take him too? You said I'm his father—are you going to take my child away from me?"

Theodore's emotions suddenly spiraled out of control, and his voice rose involuntarily.

His fists clenched tightly against the couch, his entire body tense like a raging lion ready to pounce and subdue its prey.

Rosalie grew nervous and instinctively leaned closer to Justin.

Justin reacted immediately, wrapping an arm around her waist protectively.

"Theo, we can still take him out together. Just because we're no longer a couple doesn't mean we can't get along as friends. There are so many couples who stay together despite being unhappy, and they end up arguing all the time. Do you think their children are happy watching that?"

"You're saying we weren't happy together?" Theodore seemed to hear only that part, and it cut like a knife.

Rosalie lowered her gaze. "Theo, can we stop arguing about this? I'm with Justin now. Please, I'm begging you—let's just focus on discussing Steve's custody. I genuinely want to talk this through with you. I don't want to fight."

As she spoke, her voice wavered with emotion, and she looked as though she might break down in tears.

Justin immediately pulled her into his embrace, comforting her. Then, he looked up at Theodore and said, "Mr. Spencer, I would never take Steve away from you. He will always be your son, and I am merely an uncle to him. Most importantly, I will take good care of Rose and never let her suffer. You're welcome to keep an eye on me."
