At night, after taking a bath, Rosalie leaned against the headboard, video-calling Theodore. Meanwhile, Justin was in the bathroom.
Rosalie waved at Steve on the screen. "Hi, Steve. Can you see me?"
"Mama! Mama!" Steve reached toward the screen, wanting to hug her but couldn't.
Theodore held his hand. "Steve, Mommy will come see you very soon."
"Yes, Steve, Mommy will visit you soon. You will always be my precious little boy." Rosalie wished she could reach through the screen and hold him in her arms.
Not being able to live with her child was painful, but at least Justin was by her side.
Just then, Justin stepped out of the bathroom, fresh from his shower. He walked over and sat right next to Rosalie, shirtless. He accidentally appeared on camera.
Theodore saw him and frowned slightly. He knew very well that Rosalie and Justin were now together, so it was only natural that they shared a bed. But seeing Justin sitting beside Rosalie half-naked in the video call still sent a pang through his heart.
Realizing that he had intruded, Justin shifted slightly to the side.
"Rose, it's getting late. I'll put Steve to bed now. You should rest early too."
"Alright, Theo. Goodnight." Rosalie waved at Steve. "Steve, be good and go to sleep. Mommy will visit you next week."
She blew him a kiss through the screen.
Then, Theodore ended the call.
Rosalie sighed softly and set her phone aside. After all, Steve was her child. How could she not miss him?
She hadn't been able to breastfeed him much since her body didn't produce enough milk, so he had mostly been fed formula. She barely had the chance to nurse him.
"Missing Steve again?" Justin wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
Rosalie nodded. "Yes. When it's quiet, I tend to think about him. Knowing he's not by my side makes me feel so empty inside."
And with that thought, her heart ached.
Justin pulled her into his embrace and kissed her lips. "Seems like you can't be idle for long, or you'll start feeling miserable. I'd better keep you busy."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
