Rosalie knew she couldn’t stay here to care for her aunt indefinitely, so she took out her phone and called for a caregiver to come look after Laila.
Just as she was about to leave the room, Laila seemed to spot her.
"Rose!"
Rosalie had to stop and, with some reluctance, walked back into the room.
"Rose, it's me! Do you remember me?" Laila reached out her hand. "I’m your aunt!"
Rosalie sighed. As she reached the bedside, she saw that Laila was quite agitated.
"Rose, it’s so great to see you here! I thought I’d never see you again!"
Rosalie looked at her aunt with a cold detachment. "A caregiver will come by soon to take care of you. I’ve already covered the costs."
"Good, good," Laila said excitedly. "Rose, I knew you were a good kid. If I hadn’t run into you here, god knows what would happen to me. Could you stay a while and talk with me?"
Rosalie frowned. "No, I have other things to do. I need to leave now. Rest up. I don’t plan on visiting frequently. Once you’re better, you should discharge yourself."
With that, Rosalie turned to leave.
"Hey, wait," Laila called after her.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
