Rosalie immediately regretted her words the moment she said them. She shouldn’t have said that she spent an entire night reading through the report. That was akin to admitting to Sebastian that she stayed up the whole of last night, and that would make him worry.
As she had expected, the look in Sebastian’s eyes changed.
“So you couldn’t wake up this morning because you were awake the entire night? You stayed up the night reading through the information for my sake, despite being pregnant?”
The tears welling up in Sebastian’s eyes made Rosalie worried that he might cry again, so she quickly said, “Seb, it’s fine. In the past, you stayed up so many nights keeping me company. You treat me very well, too. Although I slept late last night, I woke up late, too. I had enough sleep, so please don’t worry.”
“But I don’t remember anything now. Theodore was right. I’m useless right now, and I need your protection and care,” Sebastian said, lowering his head guiltily.
His simple words effectively portrayed Theodore as a villain, and made himself look remorseful.
“Don’t say that,” Rosalie said anxiously. “Seb, how about this? I’ll send you the information so you can think things through.”
Sebastian nodded. “Alright, I’ll take a look at it.”
Rosalie switched on her laptop on the table, and accessed the information in her email inbox. “It’s written with a lot of technical jargon. Do you have any impression of these terms?”
Sebastian glanced through the document, and tried to recall them. He nodded, and said, “I think so. I don’t think I forgot them.”
“That’s great,” Rosalie said. “It’s good that you didn’t. This medical institution has treated many people who had forgotten things they learned before. You’re in a much better condition compared to them.”
Sebastian smiled warmly at her. “I feel more confident hearing you say that. I’ll take some time now to read through this document. Go have some food. You haven’t had breakfast yet.”
Rosalie nodded. “Alright. I’ll go eat something first.”
Despite not having an appetite, she had to eat for the sake of the baby.
A thought suddenly came to her mind. “Oh, yes. Ms. Yancey…”
“I sent her off after breakfast. Don’t worry.”
“That’s good. You can keep in contact in the future. See you later.”
Sebastian nodded. “Okay.”
After Rosalie stood up and left the room, the warm look on Sebastian’s face immediately turned icy.
The video was indeed a shock for Rosalie, but it wasn’t that great a shock given that Sebastian had told her about it before she watched it.
Come to think of it, it was quite a coincidence that Sebsatian told her about it just a few minutes ago. Had he told her any later, she would have watched this video and found out the truth through it. She would certainly question Sebastian about it, and the matter would have blown up.
Rosalie watched the video one more time and saw the cunning smile that Sebastian flashed at Theodore. It sent a chill down her spine.
She shut her eyes and took a deep breath, reminding herself that Sebastian had already told her the truth and admitted it honestly. He knew he was in the wrong.
After composing herself, she called Theodore.
He answered her call within two seconds. “Rose, have you watched the video?”
Theodore sounded anxious.
“I did,” Rosalie said.
Theodore heaved a sigh of relief. “You understand what happened now, don’t you? I was telling the truth. That bastard framed me. He’s way too cunning. You can’t be with someone like that.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
