Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 661

"You're so fierce." A pitiful voice came from the other end. "Why don't you speak nicely? Why are you so harsh? You scared me. If you scare me, I might get nervous and my hand might tremble. If my hand trembles and I accidentally harm Rosalie, what then?"

Theodore's fury surged. He clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles cracked.

"How is Rose now? If she loses even a single hair, I'll…"

"Are you threatening me?" the man interrupted him. "Mr. Spencer, please get the situation straight. She's in my hands, so I can do whatever I want. The more you don't want me to hurt her, the more I'll want to do it. You see, I'm naturally rebellious—I don't respond well to threats. What should we do about that?"

Theodore took a deep breath, trying to contain his anger. "What exactly do you want? You must have a goal. Otherwise, what's the point of doing this? Are you my enemy?"

The other side suddenly fell silent.

Theodore realized something. "Have we met before? Are there any grudges between us? If you hate me, just come at me directly. Bullying a woman—what kind of skill is that?"

"I'm bullying her? You annoying jerk, how dare you say I'm bullying her? You've really pissed me off. I'm not talking to you anymore. I'll call Sebastian and have him come and get your wife."

With that, he hung up the phone.

Theodore cursed in anger and immediately redialed the number, but soon, the phone on the other end just rang with a busy signal. It was no longer reachable.

Theodore quickly handed the phone to Yerick. "Hurry, trace this number!"

Time ticked by, but nothing came up. The number was virtual, and couldn't be traced back to its source.

None of the surveillance cameras caught any clues, as if the person could teleport through space without passing through any roads.

Was he human or a ghost?
