Sebastian drove following the directions the masked man gave him, and found a building.
He got out of the car and rushed inside, only to find a person tied to a pillar, crying sadly.
Rosalie heard the footsteps, and looked up to see Sebastian rushing toward her.
“Rose!” He rushed up to her, and cupped her face in his hands. “Rose, I finally found you! Are you hurt?”
He brushed her fringe off her forehead, and found an abrasion on her forehead. The sight broke his heart and filled him with rage.
Rosalie looked dazed, and immediately asked while looking behind Sebastian, “Where is Theo? Where is he?”
The masked man showed her a video, in which she saw Sebastian and Theodore heading here together.
Hearing Rosalie show such concern to Theodore displeased Sebastian greatly. He immediately untied her from the pillar. Rosalie’s legs were sore; she collapsed backward, her body unable to stand it any longer.
Sebastian held her at once. “Rose, I’ll take you home. I’ll protect you, and I’ll never let anything happen to you again.”
He hauled Rosalie in his arms to take her away from this place.
“Seb, quick, tell me. Where is Theo right now?” Rosalie asked again.
The masked man forced her to make a choice, and she had no choice but to choose one of the two. Otherwise, both of them would die—she didn’t want that to happen to any of them.
No matter who she chose, it hurt.
“He’s fine, and he’s gone home,” Sebastian said coldly.
“Sebastian Carter, tell me where Theo is right now and how he’s doing! Don’t lie to me!”
Sebastian almost fell. He hurriedly put Rosalie back down on the ground, worried that she might fall from his arms. He hugged her tight, and said, “Rose, don’t be like this. Calm down. Your safety is of utmost priority right now.”
The more worried she was about Theodore, the angrier Sebastian felt. She even called him by his full name!
“How am I supposed to remain calm? Seb, I’m begging you. Tell me how Theo’s doing! I don’t believe that he’s fine. I want to call him! Where’s your phone? Let me use your phone, please!”
Rosalie wanted to grab his phone from his pocket, but found it empty.
“I didn’t bring my phone. I was worried the abductor would hurt you, so I didn’t bring any communication devices and came alone,” Sebastian said.
On the way here, Sebastian had smashed his phone. He destroyed Theodore’s phone and snatched it, so he decided to throw his phone away just in case. Otherwise, if he was found to be the only one with a phone while Theodore’s corpse had none, others might find him suspicious.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
