Aside from herself, Rosalie couldn't give him anything else.
She felt many things for Sebastian: gratitude, touched feelings, and guilt. However, her love had long since died.
Sebastian closed his eyes in pain. Rosalie's silence was his answer. Everything was as he had expected, but the pain was still unbearable.
He sighed softly, struggling with the heart-wrenching pain. "Alright, Rose. I won’t force you to answer. You don’t have to answer me, but I beg you to promise me that you won’t divorce me. I won’t force you to do anything you don’t want to do, but just this one thing—don’t divorce me. As long as you don’t divorce me, I will do whatever you ask."
"Seb," Rosalie said hoarsely, "Is this a trade? If I agree to this, you’ll promise to protect my child when it comes down to it, right?"
"Yes. If that’s how you want to think of it, then it is a trade."
Rosalie said, "You want me to exchange my marriage for this?"
"Rose, you can hate me or resent me, but I can’t control myself. I’m going crazy. I don’t know how else to get you to stay. I love you too much. I can’t bear the thought of you not being by my side. I can’t bear the thought of us divorcing one day. I might… I might die."
In the end, he was so choked up that he couldn’t speak. His eyes were red and filled with both pain and deep affection.
"Seb, is it really worth it for you to do this? I don’t want to make you suffer. There are so many women who deserve your love and will love you in return. But my heart..."
"Don’t say it, Rose." Sebastian covered her mouth once again. "Don’t say it. I don’t want to hear it. I only asked if you are willing."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
