Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 700

“Doctor, I’ll take care of myself. I’m sure everything will be fine. I just need to see someone before my surgery. I’ll be back quickly,” Rosalie said.

The doctor hesitated. “Before you were diagnosed with a weakened cervix, you had lower back pain and bleeding, which were quite severe. Now, you need to stay in bed and rest. If you insist on going out, it could pose significant risks to both you and the baby.”

“But this matter is very urgent. I have to make this trip. Is there any way to minimize the risk?”

Rosalie asked. She was determined to see Theodore before the surgery.

The doctor shook his head. “There’s no way to reduce the risk. You must remain on bed rest. With cervical incompetence, you could miscarry at any time. As a doctor, I don’t mind you going out if it’s an emergency, but it’s better to wait until after your surgery.”

Rosalie gently caressed her belly. “Is it really that serious? Can’t I even go out?”

“I understand your feelings, but according to your test results, if you move around or have any negative emotions now, it could easily lead to complications. You’d regret it later if something happens,” the doctor said.

Rosalie was already set on seeing Theodore today, but hearing the doctor’s words made her anxious. She was terrified of harming her baby.

“Miss Young, both you and the baby are very vulnerable right now. You need to stay in bed. If something happens, it could affect tomorrow’s surgery,” the doctor said seriously.

Rosalie didn’t dare to disobey. No matter how stubborn she was, she had to consider the baby.

Sebastian said, “Doctor, I’ll discuss this with my wife. You can go ahead with your rounds.”

The doctor nodded. “Alright. Let me know if you need anything.”

With that, the doctor left the ward.

Sebastian sat by Rosalie’s bed and held her hand. “Rose.”

“Seb, I really want to see Theo. I’m so worried about him,” Rosalie said with tears in her eyes. She had been thinking about him day and night. The choice she made that day was tormenting her.
