“Yerry, what do you like to eat?” Rosalie asked.
Yerick said, “I’m good with anything. I’ll have anything you’re having, Rose. But you’re going for an operation tomorrow. You should have something lighter.”
His thoughtful words brought a warm smile toward Rosalie’s face. “I can just eat as I normally do. It doesn’t need to be too light on taste.”
Sebastian smiled as well. “Have a good chat, you two. I’ll head out to have someone prepare dinner. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure both of you are well-fed.”
With that, Sebastian left the ward.
When he reached the door, he didn’t leave immediately. Instead, he stood at the door and waited to see if that rascal would talk bad about him.
However, after eavesdropping for a while, he realized that Yerick didn’t talk bad about him and only chatted idly with Rosalie.
Yerick Zeller was adept at being pretentious at such a young age.
Who was he trying to fool with that innocent look of his? Only Rosalie was foolish enough to trust him.
‘Just you wait,’ Sebastian thought. He was bent on exposing this rascal’s true colors.
“Yerry, Seb’s just overly worried about me. Please don’t count it against him or get angry about it.”
“It’s fine, Rose. I’m not that petty. Don’t worry, I won’t get mad at him. He’s your husband, after all. Even if I don’t care about him, I care about you.”
Yerick was honey-tongued and said everything was a sweet smile on his face that betrayed no hint of anger at all.
Rosalie heaved a sigh of relief. “That’s good.”
“Rose, it seems like your husband is recovering very well. He can even take care of you now, when you were the one taking care of him before.”
Rosalie said, “Yeah, he’s made a great recovery. If only he could remember what happened in the past. We haven’t managed to nab the one who caused him harm.”
The mention of the culprit made Rosalie feel melancholic.
“Rose, don’t worry,” Yerick said as he grabbed her hand and patted it gently to comfort her. “You’ll eventually find him. Good always triumphs over evil.”
Yerick said it without batting an eyelid.
Rosalie nodded. “You’re right.”
Just then, two men in police uniform walked in.
“Ms. Young,” they greeted.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
