Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 718

Seeing Yvonne, Rosalie heaved a sigh of relief. Finally, here came someone sensible!

She shook her head. “It’s a long story.”

Realization dawned upon Yvonne. “I think I might have figured it out.”

Rosalie approached Yvonne. “I need some fresh air.”

“No problem. I’ll go with you. Let me bring in a wheelchair. Hang on.”

“It’s alright. I don’t need a wheelchair.”

“You do,” Yvonne insisted. “You’re going for an operation tomorrow, you can’t afford to tire yourself out. Sit on a wheelchair, and I’ll wheel you outside. The baby in your belly is of utmost importance.”

Rosalie nodded. “Alright, then.”

“I’ll go with you,” Sebastian offered.

“Rose, I’ll go with you too,” Yerick volunteered.

“No need. You two should just lie down here,” Rosalie said.

Very soon, Yvonne came back with a wheelchair.

Before leaving, Rosalie instructed a nurse, “Watch the two of them. They must lie in bed until I return. Tell me if any one of them gets out of bed. Don’t be bribed by them. Remember, however much they offer you, I’ll give you double.”

The nurse nodded. “Got it. I’ll keep a close eye on them.”

Before Rosalie left, she added, “Since you two love acting so much, stay here. If you dare get out of bed, I’ll never talk to you again. Mark my words.”

The two men nodded in fright.

“Yeah. Perhaps it’s because of his memory loss.”

“You should teach them a lesson, alright. Don’t let them get used to this.”

“I’m not really that angry. If it were in the past, I might have found it fun. But now, my head’s in a mess. I wanted to visit Theo, but I can’t,” Rosalie said.

Yvonne crouched down and said, “After your operation and after you recover from it, you can visit him. There’s no rush.”

“But I want to hear his voice. I can’t reach him by his phone. I’m sure he hates me to the core right now.”

The morose look on Rosalie’s face made Yvonne feel upset. “Don’t say that! It’s not your fault. You really shouldn’t blame yourself.”

“Whether it’s my fault or not, things have come to this point,” Rosalie said with a sigh. “I don’t know what to do now.”

“You said you wanted to visit him today. Why didn’t you?” Yvonne asked.
