Yvonne drove Rosalie to the hospital. Rosalie kept checking the time, feeling anxious. "Vonnie, can you drive faster?"

"Rosalie, I know you want to see him, but calm down. There's a speed limit. If I go too fast and we get stopped by the traffic police, you won't be able to see him."

Rosalie took a deep breath. She was indeed too anxious. She was about to see Theodore, and the closer the moment came, the more anxious she felt.

"The weather was fine just a moment ago, and now it's raining again," Yvonne remarked as she noticed the water droplets on the windshield. She turned on the wipers.

Rosalie turned her head to look at the rain hitting the window, and a wave of sadness suddenly washed over her. She even felt a strong sense of unease.

"Rose, when you see him, what do you plan to say?" Yvonne asked.

Rosalie shook her head. "I don't know. My mind is a mess. Right now, I just want to see him. I guess the first thing I'd do is apologize."

"But what if he doesn't accept your apology? He doesn't even want to see you, but you're still going to visit him. What if he shuts the door in your face?"

"Then I'll speak to him from outside the door."

She had to tell Theodore that she was pregnant. She could no longer keep this from him. She had to tell him herself.

This message wasn't something anyone else could relay. If Theodore found out from someone else, who knew what kind of reaction he might have.

Everyone else knew—except him.

She had to be the one to tell him. Even if he got angry, at least there would be someone for him to direct his anger at.

Yvonne didn't ask further questions, and continued driving. The hospital was quite far; they had to drive from the southern district to the northern district. However, according to the GPS, they were only about ten minutes away from their destination.

Suddenly, a figure dashed across the road through the rain. Yvonne immediately hit the brakes.

With a screech, Rosalie's body jolted, but thankfully, she was wearing a seatbelt and was unharmed.
