Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 791

Rosalie had been in the hospital for about ten days, and was finally discharged.

Her baby was five months along, and her belly had grown quite large. Due to her condition, she found herself getting tired after just a few steps and spent most of her time resting in bed.

Sebastian took great care of her, personally bringing her meals and drinks, almost feeding her like a child. He even wanted to help her bathe, but she declined, preferring to wash herself or, if necessary, have a maid assist her. Sebastian respected her wishes.

After dinner, Rosalie sat on the bed, suddenly feeling the urge to call Rebecca. It had been a while since she last contacted her. Despite her divorce from Theodore, the Spencers still insisted she was part of the family, but the reality was that their connection had faded since the separation—not out of intent, but almost subconsciously.

When she dialed Rebecca's number, Sydney answered. "Hello?"

Rosalie recognized her voice immediately. "Mom? Why do you have Grandma's phone?"

"Oh, I'm with her. She's not feeling well right now," Sydney replied.

"What's wrong with Grandma? Is she sick?" Rosalie's heart sank.

"She's had some health issues. Since you've been discharged, it's time I let you know," Sydney explained, detailing Rebecca's condition.

Hearing this, Rosalie was devastated.

Sebastian noticed her distress and rushed to her side. "Rose, what's wrong?"

"My grandma... She's sick. I need to see her," Rosalie said, wiping away tears.

"What kind of illness does she have?"

"Dementia," Rosalie sniffed. "I have to go see her."

She tried to get out of bed, but Sebastian wrapped his arms around her waist. "Rose, don't be too hasty."

"Don't stop me, I have to go," she insisted.

"I'm not stopping you," he said. "I'll drive you."

"What if he apologizes and wants you back?"

"Seb, we agreed that I wouldn't divorce you. You don't have to worry. When I went to look for him, I made it clear that if he didn't call me, it meant he didn't want our child. He hasn't contacted me at all. His choice hurts me deeply. Even if he wanted to reconcile, it's too late."

Sebastian's lips curled into a satisfied smile. "Alright, Rose, I trust you. Just don't let me down."

He took her hand and kissed her knuckles, almost kneeling in front of her in a display of vulnerability.

"Otherwise, I won't be able to live. You're all I have now."

He rested his forehead against her knees, feeling helpless.

Rosalie's heart softened, and she reached down to gently stroke his hair. "I won't abandon you. I promise to keep my word, and no matter what happens, as long as you don't agree, I won't divorce you."

She was determined to fulfill her promise to him, as it was the least she could do after all he had sacrificed.
