Seeing Sebastian's grim expression, Sydney could sense his strong dislike for Theodore. The thought of her two sons being at odds troubled her deeply.
Although they were both her children, she couldn't expect them to get along, especially since they were raised in such different environments and were now in love with the same woman.
Theodore was the younger brother, and Sebastian the older; yet now, the older brother was married to the younger brother's ex-wife, who was also carrying his child.
This tangled relationship made Sydney's head spin and filled her with anxiety. She had never felt so troubled; the conflicts of one generation had carried over to the next.
"Sebastian." She finally spoke up.
Hearing her calling him by his first name made Sebastian feel uneasy. "Ms. Harper, I don't think it's appropriate for you to call me that."
"Is it wrong for me to call you by your name? Given my age, I think it's not too offensive," she replied.
Sebastian took a deep breath and nodded. "Fine, call me whatever you want."
Regardless of how she addressed him, it didn't change their strange relationship. They were essentially adversaries. He still remembered how she had insulted, cursed, and even hit him. Those memories were not easily forgotten.
"Can you please stop hating Theodore?" Sydney asked, her voice softer than before.
Sebastian frowned. "What did you say?"
"I know you dislike him, but Theodore is already divorced from Rosalie. I assure you, they will never be together again. Isn't it better to maintain this status quo?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
