Chapter 92
Meanwhile, Theodore was still at the hospital with Cynthia. She c a lot, but he didn’t stop her, instead just sitting in a chair by her b lost in thought. When she noticed that Thedore wasn’t comfort her, Cynthia realized there was no point in continuing to cry and finally stopped.
Hearing that her crying had subsided, Theodore glanced at her. Feeling better?”
Η
Still upset, she said, “Theo, I’m sorry. I caused you to argue with yo family.”
“I don’t think Rose knew that my mom invited you to lunch. She wa there because she had been invited too. My mom invited both of yo separately, so you might have misunderstood,” Theodore explaine
Cynthia’s heart thumped. Was Theodore defending Rosalie? Did h not believe that his mother and wife would team up to bully her?
“…”
Cynthia’s hands clenched into fists under the blanket. Since Theodore had explained the other two women’s actions, she couldn’t directly speak ill of them, or he might end up thinking badly of her instead.

Cynthia bit her lip and said, “Theo, I was surprised when I saw Rosalie there because I thought your mother had only invited me. After what happened, I thought they might have planned it together.
“Honestly, I don’t know what really happened, but I did feel wronged. Even your mother can’t deny how she humiliated me in the restaurant. Why did she want to see me if she doesn’t like me?”
“Then, tell me, why did Rose splash water on you? What happened
before she did that?” Theodore asked.
Cynthia suddenly felt uneasy. She knew exactly what happened, but she definitely couldn’t tell Theodore the truth.
“Why aren’t you saying anything? Did you y something to her?”
Theodore frowned, a hint of unease in his eyes. Had he
misunderstood Rosalie?
“We had an argument. We were talking about you, and things got a bit heated. Women are always a bit emotional, you know,” Cynthia said pitifully.
It was better to say that she and Rosalie had argued over Theodore, leading to the water incident, than to tell him the truth.
Theodore fell silent. Cynthia’s words seemed to make sense. But didn’t Rosalie dislike him? Why would she argue with Cynthia because
of him?
Could it be that Rosalie harbored some resentment towards Cynthia because she and Theodore were ultimately still husband and wife? Did she not necessarily need to love him to argue over him?
He thought back to the fights he had with Rosalie previously. If he could argue with her, then it wasn’t surprising that Rosalie would argue with Cynthia.
Theodore sighed and gently patted the blanket covering Cynthia. ” Okay, I understand.”
The incident at lunch was probably just a farce. He just hadn’t expected that his mother would do such a thing one day. He thought. his mother had already distanced herself from the Spencer family’s affairs, and that his parents were still together only on paper.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
