Perhaps Sebastian had frightened Steve, as his crying grew even louder. With his little mouth open, he wailed loudly.
"Can you please stop crying? Steve, am I not holding you? Don't you always like it when Daddy holds you?" Sebastian said.
"Normally, when your mother holds you, you cry. But when I hold you, you stop. Look, I've been taking care of you all this time. Haven't I been good to you? So why are you still crying? Are you… Are you missing Theodore too?"
Sebastian's gaze suddenly turned dark and menacing.
"Tell me, is that it? Are you thinking of him because he's your real father? Steve, you have to understand that I'm your father! I've been the one taking care of your mother and you. I treasure you both, but what about Theodore? He doesn't even know you exist! He's out there enjoying himself with other women!" Sebastian cried.
"Steve, I'm your father. When you grow up, you'll only acknowledge me, right? You can't accept Theodore. He can never be your father.
"Only I am your father. Only me!
"Steve, open your eyes and see clearly—I, Sebastian, am your father!
"Please stop crying, okay? Steve, don't cry."
But no matter how much Sebastian tried to soothe him, Steve continued to cry.
"I told you to stop crying!" Sebastian shouted at him in a frenzy.
"If you keep crying… If you keep crying, I'll bury you alive!"
Sebastian's eyes blazed fiercely as he glared at him.
Steve seemed to be shocked. He suddenly stopped crying, but his eyes had lost their sparkle, and he didn't move.
"Steve, what's wrong?" Sebastian gently touched his face.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
