The core higher–ups of Shadow Garden had retreated to Briostein, leaving the members. without a chance to evacuate and resulting in a loss of contact with the organization. As a result, Shadow Garden gradually declined and became a small–time assassin group. 

Over the course of two decades, the connection between Shadow Carden in Briostein and Shadow Garden in Chanaea had significantly weakened. 

Emrys then showed Jerome a childhood photo of Yelena and asked if he had any recollection of her 

Jerome studied the photo for a moment before shaking his head and replying, “No.”
