Chapter 670 Twin Sister
During that time, his emotions were heavily influenced by the spirit fire, and he simply couldn’t control them. As a result, he unintentionally released something he shouldn’t have, which caused Caylie to bleed slightly.
Caylie had a gentle nature. When she realized that the terrifying aura was emanating from Emrys, she didn’t blame him. Instead, she turned around and showed him concern.
The heartache was unbearable, especially after she saw Emrys‘ disappearing eyebrows and
hair.
Emrys couldn’t help but feel touched. Caylie was truly an embodiment of a benevolent angel on earth. She was incredibly gentle and kind–hearted.
Therefore, he knew he couldn’t let her down.
During the few days he stayed at Crimson Sun Sect, almost no one realized that Emrys was not a mentee of Crimson Sun Sect.
He wore the attire of Crimson Sun Sect, and whenever he encountered other mentees, he carried himself with ease. Even his shiny bald head, which often drew attention, did not disturb his composure.
With such mental fortitude, no one would dare believe he wasn’t from Crimson Sun Sect.
Over the past few days, Emrys kept seeing people from other sects visiting Crimson Sun Sect, and Quincey received them all with great enthusiasm.
Emrys knew without having to think what the purpose of those people going there was.
Quincey was incredibly honorable, skillfully navigating through situations that were not as they seemed.
One day, just like the previous couple of days, Emrys was leisurely strolling around Crimson Sun Sect. Suddenly, a beautiful woman with a graceful figure caught his eye.
“Nina?” Emrys stared at the woman, momentarily stunned. He rubbed his eyes vigorously, only to realize that he hadn’t been mistaken.
Indeed, it was Ninette.
How did she end up at Crimson Sun Sect? Is she not satisfied with interviewing people outside that

she has to come to Mount Kushburn to interview cultivators? You sure know how to have fun, Nina! Emrys was filled with admiration and quickly walked toward Ninette. He took advantage of the moment before she noticed and lightly patted her shoulder.
“Wifey Nina, how did you end up at Crimson Sun Sect?”
Suddenly. Emrys spoke up, startling Ninette who quickly sidestepped, a look of alertness on her face as she stared at Emrys. “Who are you?” she demanded. “Who is Wifey Nina?”
Hey! This young lady is trying to pull off this act of pretending to have lost her memory with me. Emrys took another step forward, once again standing in front of Ninette. He grasped her checks and said, “Ninette, have you lost your mind?”
“Let go!” she shouted.
In an instant, Emrys felt a chill emanating from Ninette. Her eyebrows were furrowed,. and her face was icy cold.
Among those accompanying her, a young man loudly rebuked, “Under which elder are you a mentee, daring to be so disrespectful to Ms. Morris?”
A woman nearby teased, “Oh, this bald–headed boy, you have quite a handsome look. But your way of striking up a conversation is too crude. You’ve scared our dear Sylvia.”
Ms. Morris? Sylvia? Sylvia Morris? Emrys was immediately stunned, his eyes wide as he stared at the girl in front of him. He asked, “Your name is Sylvia? Are you sure it’s not Ninette?”
“You’ve mistaken me for someone else,” Sylvia Morris said with furrowed brows.
Emrys believed it.
Because it was absolutely impossible for Ninette to treat him in such a manner, and moreover, the chill he felt earlier was clearly not feigned.
This indicated that the girl standing before him, who bore a striking resemblance to Ninette, was indeed not Ninette.
