Lastly, the crew–cut man made a point to emphasize, “And one last thing. Mr. Emerentius has always been one to shun the limelight and material wealth, which is exactly why he’s offering such a generous deal today.”

The room was electric with excitement and admiration. 

Seizing the moment, the crew–cut man spoke up, “All right, folks. Let’s get down to business. These two pieces by Mr. Emerentius are going for three hundred thousand, cash only. No checks or bank transfers, please.”
