Chapter 805 A Contest Of Courage
Cameron was curious to know the gap between him and Emrys. Thus, he proposed a duel.
However, Emrys shook his head and said, “Buddy, it’s not that I’m looking down on you, but with your slight build, I’m worried that one punch might send you sprawled to the ground, upon which you accuse me of foul play.”
“W–What absurdity! Do I look like the kind of scoundrel who would accuse people falsely? No, wait. Do you really think you could knock me down with a single punch? That’s utterly ridiculous!”
“You don’t believe me?”
Emrys’s expression was amused. Suddenly, he started forward, walking toward Cameron. A cold glint abruptly flashed across his eyes.
Cameron’s face stiffened.
All of a sudden, a wave of unease washed over him.
Sylvia has exceptionally high standards, so the fact that this punk won her favor indicates that he’s undoubtedly extraordinary.
Earlier, he merely acted out of jealousy that he challenged Emrys to a duel. But right then, as he watched the latter stride toward him, the icy intensity in the man’s eyes sent a shiver through his very soul.
His sanity had returned to him then
D*mn it! I was too rash!
But with three beauties watching from the sidelines at that moment, and among them was his idol, Sylvia, Cameron found himself in a predicament, unable to back down.
That wasn’t the worse.
Following his roar just now, it unexpectedly drew the attention of many nearby. The onlookers watched curiously, making Cameron’s expression turn uncomfortably awkward.
He could never bring himself to apologize and say he was too impulsive and wanted to
take his words back.

That would be utterly embarrassing.
Since he got himself into the situation, he had to bite the bullet no matter how tough it
Was.
Cameron could only feign calmness and adopt a battle stance. He tried his best to avoid looking at Emrys’s eyes, fearing he would be intimidated before the duel began.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Emrys’s footsteps gradually drew closer.
Cameron was so nervous that his palms were sweating,
But at that very moment, Emrys suddenly halted in his tracks.
Snorting, he said, “How dull. A duel is so boring. How about we have a contest of courage instead?”
He had long since seen through Cameron’s fear, feeling that engaging with such a weakling was a waste of energy.
At Emrys‘ words, a wave of relief washed over Cameron. He forced himself to take a deep breath before replying, “Okay. A duel is indeed boring. We’ll have a contest of courage. How do you propose to go about it?”
Emrys paused for a moment. Then, he suddenly turned his gaze toward the thunderous terrain and said, “Ms. Morris, you mentioned earlier that the deeper one ventures into Thundercloud Marsh, the higher the lightning density, yes?”
“Yes,”
It seemed that Sylvia had already guessed what Emrys was planning to do. But still, she nodded.
Emrys turned his gaze back to Cameron, smiling as he proposed, “How about this? For the contest of courage, we’ll venture into Thundercloud Marsh and see who can make it further in.”
“Rys, have you lost your mind?” Ninette shrieked before Cameron could respond.
She continued, “Didn’t you hear what my sister just said? Several teachers at Cloudmist Academy had previously ventured into Thundercloud Marsh, only to meet their end
there.”
