Chapter 883 Narrow Minded 

Originally, Emrys had reached absolute–phase of Golden Elixir stage, equal in stature to the so–called Alexander. However, a few complications arose later on, but those in no way affected Emrys‘ temperament. 

Emrys was brimming with confidence. After altering his training regimen, he was certain that his abilities would soon rival, if not surpass, those at absolute–phase of Golden Elixir 

stage. 

Naturally, he didn’t take Alexander to heart. 

Therefore, Alexander thought that what he gave to Emrys was a great fortune, but he didn’t realize that in Emrys‘ eyes, it was hardly worth mentioning. 

Upon hearing Emrys‘ response, Alexander frowned. A hint of danger even seeped through his demeanor as he angrily retorted, “Do you think I’m not qualified enough to be your mentor?” 

Murderous intent? Emrys was instantly taken aback. I didn’t expect him to be shockingly narrow–minded. Emrys was completely fearless. He chuckled and said, “Since you’ve crossed swords with Heavenly Sword King, you must be quite the big shot. You wouldn’t make things difficult for me just because I refused to become your disciple, would you?” 

Alexander’s deep–set eyes narrowed, and the dangerous aura that had been emanating from him was instantly reined in. “Ha–ha, what a joke! Who do you think I am? How could I possibly give a young one like you a hard time over such a trivial matter? Young man, you’ve got quite the character!” 

Alexander stroked his pale beard, letting out a hearty laugh. He then looked deeply into Emrys‘ eyes and said, “Your name is Tigger, yes? Excellent, truly outstanding. I’ll remember you. I believe that with your talent in swordsmanship, it won’t be long before your name will send tremors throughout Mount Kushburn.” 

At first glance, his words seemed harmless enough, but upon closer reflection, one could detect the undercurrent of his anger. 

Given what Emrys had just said, Alexander naturally couldn’t lose his temper again.

Caden scoffed. “You’ll understand someday what you’ve missed today. Not everyone is privileged enough to receive the blessings of Old Mr. Youngblood.” 

He could certainly perceive Alexander’s irritation. Although he spoke nonchalantly, inside, he was already bursting with joy, 

He felt relieved that Emrys had not agreed to become Alexander’s apprentice, Otherwise, he and Devon would have been destined to face a disaster that day. 

With a wave of his sleeve, Alexander turned his back once more and said, “All right, all of you can descend the mountain now!”

On the way down the mountain, Devon and Caden frequently cast chilling glances toward Emrys, their lips curling into cold, mocking smiles,
