Chapter 890 Tell Him I Am Dead
Everyone’s body suddenly shuddered.
They knew exactly what Emrys meant.
Emrys had little interest in becoming the leader of the Sword Sect. However, if he wished, he could assume the role at any moment, given his strength and the mandate of the Heavenly Sword King.
The ball was in Emrys‘ court.
He spoke in such a manner to emphasize the importance of obedience, subtly warning them that if they upset him, he could easily assume leadership of the three sects. If that were to happen, they’d better brace themselves for the inevitable consequences.
Rodney and his companions, feeling quite intimidated, responded respectfully, “Mr. Lund, please feel free to instruct us. We will certainly comply with your wishes.”
Emrys nodded in satisfaction. “So, it was Caden and Devon who sent you to assassinate me, wasn’t it? When you return, tell them I’m already dead. I’ll see who dares to reveal my true identity! Hmph!”
Emrys stamped his foot, unleashing a surge of overwhelming aura from the absolute- phase of the Golden Elixir Stage. The others were so scared that they nodded repeatedly, assuring him, “We understand. We’ll definitely keep your secret.”
“All right. You may return and resume your duty.”
Emrys paused for a moment and asked, “By the way, there’s one more thing. Do you guys know what’s the deal with the soul sword we saw just now?”
Emrys had his assumptions, but he still popped the question.
The few men exchanged glances, their expressions filled with hesitation. In the end, it was Rodney who responded. “Actually, we’ve never seen that sword before. The only person who would possess such a skill is…”
His voice gradually faded, as if he was hesitating whether or not to respond.
Emrys chuckled. “It’s Old Mr. Youngblood, isn’t it? When you return, tell Devon and Caden I’m already dead. And if that b*stard asks, tell him the next time I appear at Three Swords Sect, it will be to end his life.”

Rodney and the other shuddered at his words.
I bet no one else dares to insult Old Mr. Youngblood in such a manner, except for the person standing before us right now.
Meanwhile, they were also puzzled.
Why did Emrys instruct them to tell Devon and Caden that he’s dead if they ask? But he chose to respond to Old Mr. Youngblood with an arrogant threat? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Old Mr. Youngblood is so powerful. Wouldn’t it make more sense to let him know that Emrys is already dead? Wouldn’t that be a safer option? Although Devon and Caden were the sect leaders of Two Sword Sects, their cultivation bases were merely at the middle–phase of the Golden Elixir Stage. If Emrys were to threaten them, wouldn’t it terrify them? I can’t comprehend this. Indeed, as Emrys himself has said, his personality is ever–changing.
Rodney and the others could not fathom Emrys‘ thoughts.
Soon, they reached their own conclusion.
They believed that deceiving Caden and Devon would likely go unnoticed, and even if they did catch on, they were powerless to act.
Conversely, if they had lied to Alexander and were discovered, they would have faced severe consequences.
Upon reflection, Rodney and his men suddenly felt that Emrys was very considerate. They realized that he had been taking their needs into account all along. His efforts were truly sincere and painstaking!
If a man like him were to become our leader, it’d be nothing short of a blessing for the Three Sword
Sects.
Thereafter, Rodney and men left, feeling moved.
