Chapter 950 Confrontation 

Observing Zephyr’s agitation, Emrys arched his brow. 

It can’t be. Could there be such a coincidence? They’re looking for that garbage of a knockoff book? 

Zephyr emptied the contents of the storage pouch, his expression darkening with each passing moment. Addressing Emrys with an edge in his voice, he demanded, “I’m asking you. Where is it?” 

“Mr. Lestrange, please calm down…” Logan attempted to defuse the escalating tension. 

“Get out of my way!” Zephyr’s agitation reached its peak. 

After waiting for so long, only to be met with disappointment, he couldn’t contain his frustration. Pushing Logan aside, he confronted Emrys directly. 

Emrys could finally confirm they were seeking the very book he had torn into pieces. 

He, too, felt a surge of irritation. 

How dare they have the nerve to give me attitude after stealing the Nameless Divine Art? 

Emrys’s voice cut through the tension, sharp and icy. “All that was in Gideon’s storage pouch were these items. I’m not sure what you’re looking for. If you insist on framing me, I’m not afraid.” 

The air crackled with intensity as the standoff continued. 

Trying to diffuse the situation. Logan interjected with a sheepish smile. “Mr. Lund, stop. joking around. How could we dare to frame you? Since you’ve said that you didn’t touch anything inside, we trust you.” 

While Logan attempted to maintain peace, he shot Zephyr a discreet warning glance, reminding him not to offend Emrys, or it wouldn’t end well for them. 

However, Zephyr brushed off Logan’s unspoken advice and strode directly toward Emrys, his determination unwavering. 

However, Zephyr’s attention wasn’t fixed on Emrys; instead, it was drawn to the bike parked behind him. After inspecting the head of the bike, he couldn’t contain his anger any longer and demanded loudly, “Where did you get this bike?”

Kammys, taken aback by the sudden shift in focus, could only manage a puzzled “Huh?” 

Zephyr’s inquiry only served to confuse the other two. 

It was like two adversaries on the brink of conflict suddenly pausing to inquire about each other’s attire. 

Anyone would be bewildered by the absurdity of the situation. 

It went without saying that Emrys would never respond to this lunatic. 

Zephyr scoffed. “Feeling guilty, are you? You Heavenly Pilferer Sect folks are always up to no good. It’s no wonder you’re so shameless; it’s in your nature.” 

“The Heavenly Pilferer Sect?” Logan’s eyes widened in alarm as he turned to Emrys. “Mr. Lund, are you a member of the Heavenly Pilferer Sect?” 

Ennys was contemplating the meaning behind Zephyr’s accusations when Logan’s question interrupted his thoughts. Without hesitation, he responded, “I am indeed from the Heavenly Preserver Sect. Is there a problem?” 

Is there a problem? There’s a big problem! 

Logan’s eyes widened further, his expression turning slightly peculiar. 

He had encountered members of the Heavenly Pilferer Sect before. Though they were all notorious for being shameless, Emrys was different–he exuded an air of pride when he spoke of his sect 

“Heh, so you’ve finally admitted to stealing it. You thieves have become bolder than ever!” Zephyr clenched his fists tightly, his face contorted with hostility as he glared at Emrys. 

Emrys furrowed his brow once more. 

He was a fool. The words Zephyr had just uttered and the expression on Logan’s face hinted at something about his sect that he hadn’t fully grasped.
