“That’s a pretty cheap statement considering you have some with you right now, who’s willing to walk through hell on earth to aid you.” I wasn’t expecting her to jump into me with open arms, but I did want a little bit of appreciation. After all I turned my back on someone I once called a friend, that wasn’t so much to do with her though, I had been disagreeing with his tyranny long before I even met Dylan.

“No…” she was quick to defend her comment though, and in true fashion she looked down at the floor, nervous for her words. When in reality they made my own face heat up and a genuinely flattered chuckle escape my lips. “You’re not a lycan… no wait, you are a lycan but your not like them… what I mean to say is…” I secretly loved it when she got a bit flustered around me, it meant she held some sort of affection for me, even if it wasn’t in the way I wanted her to, 1 knew we couldn’t actually be together, she would never allow it, so I’d be happy for her to simply think of me as a friend.

“You’re just Lewis…” She eventually said after her long pause trying to get her words to form a coherent sentence. “I don’t think of you as a narcissistic mutt or a power hungry wolf… I see you as you are.” Had she truly looked past the fact that I was a wolf? Her hatred for my ed to be aimed at every Lycan alive, but now, the way she was looking at me and talking to me, if I wasn’t imagining, it I’d say she liked me…
