Book11 Chapter11.
Three days later, I took all the evidence I had gathered and filed for divorce in court.
After receiving the summons, Jayden stood downstairs with a megaphone, crying and shouting.
"Honey, I was just momentarily bewitched."
"You're the one I love the most. I know I was wrong. Please forgive me!"
The helpful neighbors called the police for me.
The police was citing public disturbance, kicked Jayden out of the community.
Seeing that soft words didn't work, he took to the internet, publicly crying and portraying himself as an abandoned husband. He claimed that I became unfaithful and wanted to dump him for a new lover after getting money.
What a case of the pot calling the kettle black!
He tried to use public opinion to win me back, but Ruby slapped him in the face with her actions.
She spouted nonsense on Twitter.
"Jayden's wife, Freya Carter, has two houses in her name. She doesn't work and lives of a man. Who knows which rich guy gave her those houses? If she can't keep him, she shouldn't blame him for finding someone new."
"Also, I'm announcing that I'm pregnant. Please give us your blessings!"
With their drama, everything fell into place.
Ruby herself hammered Jayden into a cheating scumbag.
As for their slander against me, netizens dismissed it as desperate dogs biting wildly.
A popular comment went viral, "Congratulations to Ms. Carter for escaping hell. Everyone, let's lock down these two scumbags and prevent them from ruining anyone else's life!"
I only found out while browsing the internet that Jayden had recently done well on a project, and his boss was planning to promote him and give him a raise.
This guy was driven by lust. He had just received a project bonus and immediately used it to keep a mistress. He even moved her downstairs for convenience.
