Book2 Chapter31.
I have to admit, Rolin is incredibly capable. Three months later, my design drafts became the centerpiece of his clothing brand's first main line of products. They were unprecedentedly popular, and the sel- through rate hit new highs.
My name, Elizabeth, was no longer tied to Leo. The sense of liberation was overwhelming.
At the celebration that evening, I saw Leo again.
Given that the clothing company embraced unique styles and had a relaxed approach to dress codes, I decided to return to my signature look.
I wore a black mini skirt, thigh-high boots, and winged eyeliner. I even tried the dreadlocks I'd always wanted.
At first glance, Leo probably didn't even recognize me. But then, his eyes lit up with unmistakable recognition.
That's when Rolin finally arrived, as loudly as always, and immediately spotted me. He took off his shirt and laid it over my legs.
"Liz, I don't mean to sound old-fashioned, but that skirt is pretty short.
Here, cover up so you can sit more comfortably," he whispered gently.
I burst out laughing at his awkward demeanor.
