Book4 Chapter5.
Amelia's bodyguards, observing the scene, praised her effusively:
"Amelia was born to be Mrs. Jackson. She handles these situations perfectly."
"Absolutely. Look at her-this woman was so defiant at first, and now she's in tears. She'll think twice before trying to seduce anyone again."
"Congratulations to Amelia for dealing with this low-life. No one will dare challenge your position as Mrs. Jackson now!"
Amelia, basking in their admiration like a victorious general, couldn't hide her satisfaction: "Let's finish this quickly. I don't want Michael to see this and be disgusted."
Just then, Michael entered the courtyard, his voice cutting through the tension: "What's going on here?"
Everyone froze and turned to him.
Michael, in a tailored suit and gold-rimmed glasses, exuded both authority and intensity.
Amelia's confident demeanor immediately shifted to one of submission.
With a sweet smile, she approached Michael and linked her arm with his: "Michael, weren't you in an urgent meeting? How did you get here?"
Michael ignored her question and replied coldly: "Don't you know this villa is off-limits? What are you doing here?"
His tone was icy, and his piercing gaze unsettled Amelia.
She instinctively shuddered: "Michael, I saw someone sneaking into the villa from outside, so I came in to confront her."
Michael's brow furrowed slightly as he surveyed the courtyard: "You didn't enter the villa, did you?"
Amelia quickly shook her head: "No. We only dealt with her here."
Sensing the change in mood, Amelia's bodyguards quickly chimed in:
"Mr. Jackson, Amelia understands how important this place is and wouldn't act recklessly."
"She saw someone sneaking around and was concerned for your safety."
