Crawling Back To Her Series Redemption and Refuse novel Chapter 67

Books Chapter7.

It was strange. I'd never been to this house before.

Yet, as soon as I entered, a wave of familiarity almost overwhelmed me.

The furniture and decoration style was exactly what I liked. Could I really know this man?

But now I was a bit angry. He promised to take me home.

Finally, we arrived at this place, and I gripped the phone in my hand silently.

I was ready to call the police at the slightest sign of trouble.

The man didn't notice my small action. Excited, he ran to a room and brought out a dusty photo album.

He eagerly started flipping through it in front of me, "Juliana, look, this is from when we were in high school. We had to hide from the teachers. Luckily, we graduated soon and could be together openly."

In the photos, I was smiling brightly, hugging Stanley's shoulders.

I remembered that day well, for Stanley confessed his love to me. That afternoon, he tricked me into staying to help with homework.

He suddenly took out a bouquet of roses from who-knows-where, and his eyes were so bright.

I had never seen such charming eyes, as if all the light in the world was in his gaze.

At that moment, I knew nothing else but smiled as I accepted his confession.

He excitedly picked me up from the ground and spun me around, shouting.

"Juliana, I swear to treat you well for the rest of my life. If I ever let you down, may I suffer a terrible fate!"

Stanley, you don't need to suffer a terrible fate.

I'll take your place.

A sharp pain struck my mind again, almost making me cry.

But he didn't see it, continuing to flip through the photos.
