Critic novel Chapter 68

Almost everybody I know learned that I'm getting married. They called me to send best wishes. My parents are the happiest they are so excited for the big day and soon for grand children.

I'm preparing for the wedding with the help of Jerry's mom I visit the wedding botique and the event organizer. With Aunty Rose as if my Mom is here helping me with details. I like the biggest cake possible. We will have plenty of guests from the company with Franco's side and mine plus our friends and family. I sent Mommy Rose home before I went back to my place. As get near my door a woman seems to be waiting for me approached my direction.

"Are you Tara?" She asked shortly. She's a small woman who carries her dress so well. She bears a regular asian face but glamourized by make up and accesories.

"Yes it is me. May I help you?" I asked intrigued for the reason a woman i don't know will appear on my doorstep.

"I am Siera, daughter of Franco's boss!" This woman is stalling what she has to say. She looks sad and nervous, she doesn't seem to know what to say. Looks like she's about to cry.

"Nice meeting you Siera. Is there something happened to Franco at work?"

"Oh No! I am here for other thing. Can we talk about it over a cup of tea or coffee somewhere?"

"Ow sure, why don't we come inside the house. I have a good coffee and tea inside." I offered her. She agreed easily to come inside the house. I directed her the couch while I prepare something to drink. I placed to set of tea on the table then finally asked her.

"So tell me what brought you here?"

"I guess you should go. I already heard enough." I pointed the door on her in case she doesn't know the way out while my eyes are looking up crying.

"Thank you for your time. But please before your wedding think of a child who is about to be abandoned by his father." That's her last words. I wanted to hurt her and pull her hair but she's pregnant so I can't just do that. I might end up killing her or the child.

"Just go!" She left and closed the door. I burst out even more when she left, I kicked the table where the untouched tea are.

"Why!" I screamed again and again. He showed no sign of being cold no sign of cheating. I didn't see this coming. Why did he do this to me, again. I loved him. I gave him every love I can give. Why I am not enough? The whole living room is in disaray after I released my anger. I finally thought of messaging Franco so we could talk.
