Chapter 102
As dusk fell, the crowded commercial street was bustling and the traffic was congested. The largest commercial bar in the center of the square was particularly dazzling with flashing neon lights, and it was incredibly lively.
“Dominick, is something bothering you?”
Compared to the lively dance floor in the bar, the counter on the east side bar was relatively quiet, with few people daring to come near
Vincent hesitated for a long time before summoning the courage to speak. “Dominick, you shouldn’t drink so much. Those frequent migraines you’ve been having could be due to an old injury. This isn’t something to take lightly….
Dominick, who was sitting to the left, raised his glass and downed it all in one go. He then looked over coldly at Vincent with narrowed eyes.
When Vincent saw that, a chill ran down his spine, and he immediately stopped talking.
t weren’t for the fact that Scott’s family affairs, he wouldn’t have had to face such a gloomy Dominick alone.
Vincent knew Dominick hated it when people brought up his old injuries, so he quickly changed the subject. “By the way, Dominick, have you got any news about Oscar?”
Dominick replied, “Can’t find him.”
As he thought of his friend, his frown deepened, and he poured himself another half glass of whiskey, feeling increasingly irritated.
Vincent raised an eyebrow and muttered, “How odd. He finally woke up, and now he’s disappeared.”
But Oscar Dixon had always been an oddball. Although they had known him since childhood, no one truly understood him. Vincent especially remembered every time he competed with Oscar, he would always get outsmarted.
As Scott mentioned, Oscar didn’t like being disturbed and even Dominick couldn’t do anything about it.
Vincent couldn’t help but wonder what exactly Oscar was up to.
When he turned to look at Dominick again, he was surprised to see Dominick put down his glass and stare intently at a group of attractive
women across the room.
Those women across from them were wearing fishnet stockings and tight red strapless dresses, their heavily made–up faces smiling brightly as they glanced over at them,
One of the women leaned against the bar, slightly lifting her right leg to reveal a long stretch of her thigh. It was clear that the people here
were players.
Did Dominick want a hookup? The thought immediately popped into Vincent’s mind.
Yet, the next moment, Vincent realized how silly the idea was, as the five bodyguards in the corner would definitely chase the women away if they dared to come closer.
“Actually, women can be easily moved by spending money on them,” Vincent suddenly said.
Sure enough, Dominick turned to look at Vincent.
“Who knows who wrote that garbage, but those women all believe that men who are willing to spend money on them are their true love,” Vincent continued, seriously preaching,

For people like them, spending money was the easiest and simplest way. If a woman was hard to get, they just had to spend more on jewels and houses. There wasn’t a woman they couldn’t persunde.
As Dominick considered the idea of spending money on her, he gripped his crystal glass and swirled the strong liquor in it, looking thoughtful
Vincent, with a poker face, commented sarcastically, “However, there is a type of woman who’s an exception. Maybe she’s just got too much nutrition and too thick–skinned.”
He pondered, ‘But it’s not entirely Stephanie’s fault. Her system was a bit messed up. Dominick never chased after her and never sweet talked her. He just took her straight to Wellington Villa.‘
Vincent then suggested, “You could send her some jewelry or spend more time with her…” The way he said it made it seem as if women were inherently insecure and always craved company,
Even though Dominick didn’t say it, Vincent could easily guess that it was because of what happened in the basement last time that Stephanie was afraid of him.
Vincent realized how contradictory Dominick was. He obviously liked her, but he chose to scare her and then brooded over it himself.
“Maybe after Stephanie has the baby, you two could go on a honeymoon…” Vincent offered a good suggestion.
Dominick’s eyes widened momentarily. He parted his lips slightly, about to ask a question when the phone on the bar suddenly started
vibrating.
Vincent looked at the unknown number on the screen and excitedly asked, “Is it Oscar calling?”
Very few people knew Dominick’s number and this unknown caller…
They were all worried about Oscar’s condition. After all, he had been severely injured that year and had been in a vegetative state at Aurorastra for so many years. He must have lingering issues.
Dominick’s face grew stern, and he tapped the phone to pick up the call.
He didn’t speak, and the person on the other end, seemingly very excited, immediately raised their voice and asked, “Hello, are you
Dominion?”
It was an unfamiliar voice, and the tone seemed somewhat ingratiating.
The voice on the other end was quite loud, as if afraid Dominick hadn’t heard clearly. Vincent, who was sitting beside him, could also clearly hear the name “Dominion.” This was Dominick’s Eldranian name.
“Yes,” Dominick responded indifferently.
“We’re organizing a class reunion next week. Would you like to join us?”

been terrified when they found out who he was…
“He hasn’t come home yet,” Stephanie replied. She then worriedly asked, “What’s the matter? Is something wrong?”
Molly didn’t hold back anymore and shouted angrily, “Stephanie, I’m telling you, I feel like I’m going to explode!!”
