Chapter 114 Why Aren’t You Wearing What I Gave You 

nella pulled her phone from her bag and checked to ensure it was still med off before walling up to him. “What are you doing here?” 

she had found herself asking this question more frequently lately due to his unexpected appearances, which seemed to indicate that he had eyes on her at all times 

Dominic didn’t respond. He glanced at her briefly and gestured for her to get in the car 

She opened the door and sat down, nervously rubbing her hands together. She hated how she had developed this instinctive cautiousness–being so careful ow something as simple as this–so she did not explain, 

Dominic’s gaze darkened when he noticed the bracelet on her weist. “Why aren’t you wearing the necklace I gave you? 

She hit her lip. “‘s too expensive. I’m afraid I’ll lose it.” 

His voice humed cold. “That bracelet isn’t cheap either” 

She instinctively covered the bracelet with her hand. “I can see the bracelet on my wrist, so I’m less worried about losing it… Are you just passing by?” 

Dominic tilted his head toward the window, motioning outside. “Did you forget where Miller Group is located?” 

Then, Bella realized the Miller Group building was right across the street from the restaurant. After all these years, she had only been to Miller Group once, and that was with Richard She hadn’t even gone upstairs, so it made sense that she would forget. 

She hadn’t expected the restaurant she randomly picked to be across from his offior. So, did she just happen to bump into him after he got off work? 

They didn’t speak again until they reached Miller Manor. 

After her shower, she sat on the bed and turned her phone backen she saw a message from Lia, ranting about her mother pressuring her into a blind date. Just as she was about to reply, Sylvia knocked on the door. 

Bella walked over and opened it. Sylvia stood there holding forshly laundered clothes, “I brought you your clean clothes” 

She smiled and thanked Sylvia as Sylvia entered the room to sort the clothes into the closet. 

Suddenly, Bella noticed something odd–a pair of white lace underwear mixed in with the clothes. Her heart sank, “Sylvia, whose underwear is that? It’s not mine. 

Sylvia held up the somewhat suggestive underwear, looking puzzled. “It’s not yours? You’re the only young woman in the house.. Who else could it be? Besides, it was with the clothes from Mr. Miller’s room in his laundry basket.” 

Della Immediately thought of Amber. It was hard to believe nothing had happened between them it that underwear had been mixed with Dominic’s clothes. The child Amber was carrying suddenly seemed more questionable as well. 

Complicated emotions surged within Bella, but she forced herself to stay calm. “It’s probably something Amber left behind when she stayed here. I always wash and hang my underwear. I don’t hand it over to anyone else. 

“Just give it to Dominic and tell him it’s something Amber forgot. It wouldn’t be appropriate just to throw it away.”
