Chapter 139 Happy Memories 

The incident with the underwear had traumatized Bella. She did not believe that Amber and Dominic weren’t intimately involved during Amber’s stay. 

Now that Amber had returned again, the incident began to replay in her head. 

Amber was Dominic’s ex–girlfriend. Although they had broken up, they still had a dog which they had raised together. She felt like a joke… 

Suddenly, Dominic seemed to have realized something as he asked, “Why isn’t Pudding barking?” 

Bella’s attention was caught by his words, and she poked her head out to look at them. 

Amber patted Pudding’s head and said softly, “After you broke up with me, Pudding and I couldn’t get used to your absence. I was filled with annoyance and frustration every day, and it kept barking non–stop. 

“I didn’t have a choice and could only bring it to the vet to remove its vocal cords. So, it’s not able to bark anymore.” 

Dominic looked up and glared at Amber. “Considering where you live, I don’t think Pudding would’ve disturbed anyone no matter how much it barked. How could you remove its vocal cords just because you were annoyed? Are you crazy? 

Amber scoffed and took a sip of her tea. There was not an ounce of remorse on her face, “Pudding is not just my responsibility to bear. We had agreed to raise the dog together. 

“But once you returned to the country, you left us. You were the one who abandoned it. Also, it wouldn’t have ended up like that if you hadn’t broken up with me back then. Dominic, even if I were to ever go crazy, it would be because of you!” 

Bella couldn’t bear to listen anymore as she closed her window. The surgery to wasn’t any need for Amber to do that.
