Chapter 183 Outsider 

Bella had no intention of contacting Simon to confirm anything. By doing so, she would be playing into his hands because he wanted her to initiate contact with him. 

The more she thought about it, the more furious she felt. It was to the point that she was too upset to eat lunch. 

When she got home that evening, she immediately complained about her hunger to Sylvia, who offered her some chowder. “Didn’t you have lunch? Why are you hungry?” 

Bella drank the chowder pensively and hummed. She had been trying to figure out what Simon was up to, but a cunning man like him was beyond her capacity to read. 

Pudding circled her when she smelled the aroma of the chowder. Seeing Pudding made her feel slightly better. “You can’t eat this. Sylvia is preparing you some beef. Why are you looking at my food? Yours will be ready soon, so go play. 

When Dominic returned home, he saw Bella walking about the courtyard with a bowl in her hands. He grimaced with disgust. “Don’t you have any table manners? Can’t you sit down and eat?” 

She pouted. “You weren’t home yet. How could I sit at the table without you?” 

He didn’t scold her any further. After showering upstairs, he came down just as Sylvia finished serving the other dishes.
