Chapter 215 Going to His Company 

Bella was so shocked by his words that she bit the spoon in her mouth so hard that it almost nicked her teeth. “Huh? You want me to go with you? 

Dominic looked serious. “Yes, do you want to go? 

answer immediately. It wasn’t about wanting to go but about whether she dared to go. She had always known to avoid drawing attention an had never considered herself a daughter of the Miller family. 

Shedda’t dare care about the Miller family’s assets, so she felt that she shouldn’t be going to Miller Group. 

He, of course, had no idea what was going through her mind. “What’s there to think about? Aren’t you bored? It’ll jos e a chance for you to get out. 

She shook her head nervously, “No, no, I’m not bored. It’s nice to stay home and read. I’m not really a fan of going out. You don’t need to worry abou me; I’m fine here. You don’t have to return for lunch either host focus on your things.” 

It seemed he was determined to contradict her. He completely ignored her protests and said, “It’s settled, then. You’re coming with me 

Bella was speechless. 

After lunch and a brief rest, Dominic took her out 

Feeling anxious about being recognized and attracting unwanted attention, she wore oversized sunglasses. Her face was small, and the glasses covered almost half of it. While others looked cool in sunglasses, she appeared a bit quirky 

As Dominic drove, he was in a good mood and occasionally glanced at her. “Why are you wearing sunglasses? The sun isn’t that bright today. 

She lowered her head, nervously picking at her nails, “Can I not go? I’m feeling unwell. I’d rather go home and lle down…” 

After contemplacing, he asked, “Are you afraid of something? I just want to show you where I work. I’ve never taken you there before.” 

Caught off guard by his gentle tone, Bella felt a futter in her heart. She met his deep gaze, and her heart raced uncontrollably. 

Flustered, she quickly looked away. “You’re acting strange. Even a performance should have its limits. Don’t make me think you really care about me, only to revert to your old self. 

“I can’t handle that kind of outcome. If you want to see me upset, you don’t need to bother; making me feel bad is your specialty. You know there are plenty of ways to do that.” 

Dominic’s brows furrowed slightly, and his tone grew sumber. “Bolla, you always know how to make me angry so easily 

performance, knowing she would suffer alone again. She had mentally prepared 

She fell silent. He could do as he wished. She would play along with his per herself, so it wouldn’t be too baniliating. 

When they arrived at the Miller Group building, Bella felt nostalgia and melancholy. The first time she visited was with Richard, but now, everything had changed.
