As Hayden suppressed her anger, she said coldly, “Thank you for your kindness, Mr. York. I don’t really have a favorite but if I do, I can buy it myself. I don’t need you to buy it for me.”
“What you buy is yours, what I give is my feelings. Mr. Hayden, please take the flowers I got you. Don’t let my feelings go to waste. This is my first time giving flowers to someone.”
Hayden’s expression turned grim. “Mr. York, this is also the first time I received flowers from a man.”
“Why can’t a man give another man flowers? Men are humans as well, some men like flowers.”
Hayden could not win against Kevin in the argument.
Kevin was extremely shameless.
“Mr. York, I have things to do. Please leave,” Hayden requested with a frosty tone.
“I won't affect your work. I’ll be quiet. When you are done with work, let’s go for dinner.”
Hayden was speechless. “Mr. York, if you insist on staying, I will have to call security.”
Kevin looked at her with a grin. He did not take her words seriously.
Hayden was annoyed and upset by Kevin’s shamelessness.
She even had a good impression of him before this because as someone from the Yorks, Kevin was great in almost everything, except for being shameless.
Hayden kept her words. She called security and asked them to “invite” Kevin out of her office.
“It’s fine, Mr. Hayden. I can walk on my own. I’ll wait for you outside. When you are done with work, let’s go to Fortress Hotel to have dinner. I’ll make sure you will be satisfied.”
Kevin then headed to the door. He really did not want to be escorted out by the security guards because it would be embarrassing.
