Julian said nothing as Audrey and Elisa spoke.
When the mother and daughter stopped discussing who would take care of the Fisher family, he once again got up and said goodbye. “I won’t bother everyone anymore. I’ll take my leave now. I’ll invite everyone to dinner some other day when I’m free.”
The Stone family did not stop him from leaving again. Audrey told her son to see Julian out.
Clive got up and sent Julian off.
Julian did not stop him.
After leaving the house, Clive asked Julian, “Mr. Bucham, you’re not interested in my sister in that way. How long are you planning to act? Who told you to act?”
Clive wanted to know who was capable enough to make Julian act.
“I can’t say, and I don’t want to say. It’s embarrassing.”
Clive was speechless.
Julian lost a bet with Andrew and had to help Andrew unconditionally.
Andrew’s condition was that before Remy and Elisa got engaged, Julian had to commit and “pursue” Elisa.
Audrey disliked that Remy’s home was far away.
However, Julian was nearby. He was also a local of Wiltspoon.
Nevertheless, would Audrey dare to let her daughter marry him?
It was obvious that the answer was a “no”.
With Julian as a comparison, Audrey found Remy increasingly pleasing.
“Mr. Stone, I heard that your mother wants to set your sister up with a person your mother picks. Is that true?”
